Melvin Stroble

About Melvin

A servant's heart, eight years of service.

Melvin Stroble is a proud husband, father, and public servant who has dedicated himself to the students, families, and educators of Lancaster County. For eight years, Melvin has served on the Lancaster County School Board, and in 2025 his fellow trustees elected him Chair of the Board — a testament to his steady leadership on accountability, transparency, and good stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Under that leadership, Lancaster County's academic momentum has been undeniable. LCSD's third graders now rank 4th out of 75 districts statewide, with double-digit gains across ELA and math, and every single middle school in the district improved in both subjects on the 2025-26 SC READY assessments.

As a re-elected trustee, Melvin will continue to advocate for students and families, uphold financial transparency and accountability, and champion Lancaster County's achievements in the classroom and beyond — leading, as always, with humility and a servant's heart.

Look at where we are today.Do you want to go back?
